How do deposits and appointment payments work?

Appointment money can land as an online deposit through Sloud Checkout, or as cash, transfer, card, POS, or a linked wallet transfer you record in Sloudfront.

Deposit settings

In Booking → Settings, set one deposit amount (fixed or percentage of the service price). Turn Require deposit on separately for manual bookings and for online bookings. When deposit is off for that path, booking continues without collecting that amount first.

Collect or record on an appointment

Open the appointment. Collect payment starts Sloud Checkout for a new transfer into your Business Wallet. Record payment logs cash, bank transfer, card, or POS after the client already paid. Link wallet attaches a transfer that already landed in your wallet.

No-show fees

Optional no-show fee settings live under Booking → Settings. Paid deposits apply toward the fee; any remainder stays on outstanding. Without a saved card, what you can reliably keep is what was already paid — raise the deposit if you need that covered.
